Have taken the first step to fame and fortune in the fire business, have ordered some
 books from Amazon that should set me on the road to installing and fixing peoples alarms successfully.

I have decided to choose the Design Commissioning and Maintenance Maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems - a guide to BS5839-1. The book has a couple of good reviews, and applies to us in England as opposed to being an import from the states.

I also have a couple of customers from my existing business that may be interested in me helping me with their situation.

have decided on another new years resolution. To start up a fire alarm business and get it going within a year.

Am not very good at market research so I won't do any. am just going to rely on gut instinct and the fact that people have asked me and that it is technically challenging and suited to my present profession of being an electrician.
